High School - B Day
There is a Senior meeting today in the Auditorium during Advisory.
Permission slips need to be turned in to Mrs. Brown or there is a box on the island in the Main Office!
If you plan to have a physical here at school in May, please stop and see the Nurse ASAP!
The Kiss The Puppy Fundraiser voting will end this Friday! Gym Miller still has 1st, Mr. McGee is 2nd and Mrs. Jewell in 3rd! Thank you for donating to your school’s FFA Chapter!
Seniors – You still have a chance to design a t-shirt for Project Graduation. Please submit your ideas to Mr. McIntosh by Wednesday, April 25th. A 2018 class vote for the winning design will be the 1st week of May.
Seniors: The mandatory meeting for all seniors attending the S-VE senior trip to Boston (June 1-3) is scheduled for Monday, May 21 at 6 p.m. in the High School Auditorium. A parent/guardian is required at this meeting. We will be passing out the packet that contains all the information regarding the senior trip at this meeting. Employment and sports conflicts will not excuse a student from this requirement.
There is a Key Club meeting Thursday, April 26 after school in Mrs. Nash’s room.
Any student that would like to join Yearbook and create the 2019 memory book, please stop and see Mrs. Clearwater in Room 212 for an application.
Any student interested in running for Student Council can find petitions in the Main Office. The following positions will be open: President, Vice President, Responding and Corresponding Secretary(s), Treasurer and Character Education. Petitions will be due May 1st and must be handed in to Mrs. Brown. Voting will be May 24th. All petitions must have both the printed and signed name of all those signing. If your petition does not have both it will considered void/invalid.
Juniors – Inspire sponsors a Junior award each year. Please see Mrs. Frisbie for an application.
Juniors and Seniors: Prom is May 12th. Tickets are on sale now. Tickets are $50 and available in the Main Office. Tickets will be on sale until Friday, May 4.
JV Softball Girls lost against Tioga last night 0-18. Line drives caught by 8th graders Hannah Martinez and Gillian Jackman along with Sam Deppe, Leah Watkins, Autumn Long and Jaicee Gallagher.
The Boy’s Golf team traveled to Trumansburg yesterday and picked up a win, improving their record 3-2. Frank Price emerged as the Panthers’ new #1 golfer by leading the way as medalists. Other solid performances were put in by Telly Heidl, Luke Benjamin and 7th grader Ryan Swayze.
Middle School - B Day
Today we will have a Student Council Meeting during 4th and 5th period. Please grab your lunches and be there promptly as we have a lot to discuss.
Where is your stuff? In the lost and found most likely! Please check the lost and found this week and take your things home. All items left in the lost and found will be donated to the clothing and textile drive. Claim yours now before its gone!
Team Disco will meet during 4th period today in the chorus room. Today the “good dancers” and Rose, Marah and Allen should report 4th period and eat lunch 5th period.
Team Yuppies will meet in Mr. Bennett’s room during 4th and 5th period.
Team Greasers will meet 5th period in Ms. Panfel’s room.
Congrats to Anthony Speer, Derick Ryant and Ryan Swayze as all 3 have participated in varsity golf matches this week!
