Our school district receives Title I federal funding to support our students. Per legislation of the No Child Left Behind Act, parents may request information regarding the professional qualifications of your child’s classroom teacher and paraprofessional staff.

You may request the following information:

• State qualification and licensing criteria for the grade levels and subject areas in which the teacher provides instruction;

• The baccalaureate degree major and any other graduate certification or degree;

• Whether your child is provided services by paraprofessionals and their qualifications.

Currently all of our teachers and support staff for the 2019-2020 school year are highly qualified per regulations. If there is a change, the District will notify parents in writing. Another resource for parents to use for information is at the following web address:
