SPENCER — Three Spencer-Van Etten High School students were recognized as 2026 Mark Twain Scholars during a ceremony held Thursday, June 4, at Elmira College.
The Mark Twain Scholar recognition honors high school seniors who rank in the top 5% of their graduating class, celebrating academic achievement and dedication to excellence in the classroom.
This year’s Spencer-Van Etten High School honorees are Lilian Alison, Lauren Gillette and Clara Paasch.
The annual recognition program brings together some of the highest-achieving students from across the region to celebrate their academic accomplishments and future aspirations.
Spencer-Van Etten Central School District congratulates Lilian, Lauren and Clara on this outstanding achievement and wishes them continued success in their future endeavors.
