Kindergarten and first-grade students at S-VE Elementary received a hands-on lesson in oral health last week thanks to a visit from the GST BOCES Dental Hygienist program.
During the visit, BOCES students introduced young learners to strategies for keeping their teeth clean and healthy. Through a series of interactive activities, they demonstrated proper brushing techniques and reinforced the importance of good daily habits.
Students were fully engaged throughout the presentation, enjoying both the learning and the fun. Based on the success of the visit, the district plans to expand the program to additional grade levels later this year.
