Two Spencer-Van Etten Middle School band students participated in Woodwind Day at Ithaca College this past weekend. Seventh graders Liam Aarnio and Tristan Jennings represented the district during the event, which brings together young musicians for a day of learning and performance.
The students attended a masterclass, observed performances by Ithaca College music students and professors, and had the opportunity to perform as part of the experience.
The event offered valuable exposure to collegiate-level musicianship and allowed Liam and Tristan to further develop their skills in a supportive and inspiring environment.
