SPENCER—VAN ETTEN — Spencer-Van Etten High School honored 16 students during its National Honor Society Induction Ceremony on Nov. 25 in the high school auditorium. The event recognized students who have demonstrated excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, and character—the four pillars of the National Honor Society.
Led by Principal Dr. Bradley Countermine and National Honor Society advisor Erica Sparks, the ceremony featured welcoming remarks, musical performances, the NHS pledge, and presentations from current Class of 2025 members. The program also included the traditional tapping of the new inductees and an overview of the organization’s core values.
This year’s new inductees are: Xavier Beach, Izabel Campbell, Ava Cook, Amani Diboun, Madelyn Ellison, Kendall Gentile, Kaylee Kastenhuber, Landon Lawrence, Emma Neish, Kaidince Root, Marion Pierce, Vivienne Secondo, Kahliah Speciale, Kelsea Swayze, Taylor Tufford and Cooper Zufall.
A reception for inductees, families, and standing NHS members followed the ceremony.
