The Spencer-Van Etten Panthers opened their winter competition season with an impressive showing at the Bath Competition, earning top placements across multiple age divisions.
The Panthers’ Opal team, consisting of students in kindergarten through fourth grade, captured first place, while the Onyx team, made up of students in grades five through eight, earned third place. Both teams demonstrated strong performances, teamwork and dedication during the competition.
Coaches credited the athletes’ preparation and commitment for the successful start to the season and expressed appreciation for the continued support of families throughout the program.
The district also congratulates all teams who competed at the Bath Competition, recognizing the effort and sportsmanship shown by every athlete throughout the event.
The strong results mark a promising beginning to the winter season for the S-VE Panthers as they continue to train and compete in upcoming events.
