Third-grade students recently brought history to life by visiting Pre-K classrooms to share their research on Ancient Rome.
During the visit, students presented information they had learned through their classroom studies, including details about Roman gods and goddesses, daily life in Ancient Rome, and other key aspects of Roman civilization. The presentations gave Pre-K students an engaging introduction to history while allowing third graders to practice public speaking and leadership skills.
The experience concluded with a shared Roman-inspired snack of crackers and cheese, adding a hands-on element to the lesson and making the visit even more memorable for students in both grade levels.
The cross-grade activity highlighted collaboration, creativity, and the excitement of learning—while giving students the opportunity to teach and learn from one another in a meaningful way.
