Members of the Spencer-Van Etten FFA program partnered with People’s Baptist Church in Newfield on Saturday, April 4 to help organize a petting zoo as part of the church’s Easter event.
Students contributed by bringing their own animals for children and families to interact with. Classroom animals from the district were also included, along with additional farm animals provided by the Amadori family.
The petting zoo offered an opportunity for students to engage with the community while sharing agricultural experiences with younger participants.
District officials expressed appreciation to all those who contributed to the event and to People’s Baptist Church for the opportunity to participate.
