Space week

Students in one of Spencer-Van Etten Central School District’s UPK4 classes are exploring the wonders of space during a special themed week filled with creativity, play and learning.

Throughout Space Week, students have been dressing up in space-themed outfits and taking part in activities featuring rockets, planets and other space-related objects. The week has provided young learners with opportunities to use their imaginations while building early learning skills through hands-on play.

The excitement continued even during students’ eye screenings, as many children proudly wore their space costumes to their appointments.

Space Week is helping make learning memorable while encouraging curiosity, creativity and a love of discovery among the district’s youngest students.
