NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
REGARDING SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER AGREEMENT
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Education of the Spencer-Van Etten Central School District will conduct a public hearing on July 9, 2026, at 6 p.m., at 16 Dartts Crossroad Spencer, NY, concerning the proposed School Resource Officer ("SRO") Agreement between the District and Tioga County.
The purpose of the public hearing is to receive comments and stakeholder input regarding the proposed SRO Agreement and the provision of School Resource Officer services within the District.
The proposed Agreement will be available for public inspection in the District Office during regular business hours and on the District's website prior to the hearing.
All interested persons, including parents, students, school administrators, teachers, employee organizations, community members, and other stakeholders, shall have an opportunity to be heard regarding the proposed Agreement: SRO Agreement SVE Draft.
