Volley Open Gym Dates Announced
The Spencer-Van Etten Central School District is requesting proposals from qualified preventative maintenance firms for school food service/kitchen equipment for their three schools. The equipment to receive preventative maintenance would be: griddles and range tops, combi ovens, conventional ovens, dish washing machines, serving lines and/or salad bar, refrigerators, freezers, ice machines and certain drinking fountains. Review the RFB (https://5il.co/1xoh0) and equipment list(https://5il.co/1xtr6) and direct any inquiries specific to the equipment to Michelle Dougherty at 607-589-7150.

Marah Cooper, Bryce Grant and Nathan Gillette have been named S-VE's 2023 Mark Twain Scholars and honored for graduating in the top 5% of their class.
Seniors Hunter Harmon and Cody Sayre have signed to play college baseball. Hunter will play for Mohawk Valley Community College Hawks. Cody will play for Tompkins-Cortland Community College Panthers. Congratulations!

Lauren Gillette has qualified for the state championships in golf and will play on Sunday and Monday. She ended the regular season with a 47.5 stroke average for 9 holes, shot a 97 at sectionals to earn her 8th place spot in the top 9 to go to states and earned a 6th place spot in the section 4 Conference First Team. Congratulations and good luck, Lauren!

The Spencer-Van Etten Central School District Budget for 2023-2024 has passed with a vote of 164-82. Elected Board of Education members for the term of July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2026: Peter Johanns, Heidi Mouillesseaux-Kunzman and Don Johnson.
Spencer-Van Etten will host the Sectional SVEC Softball game on Wednesday, May 17 and the Sectional SVEC Baseball game on Friday, May 19. Both games will be held at Nichols Park.
