S-VE is excited to introduce alum Rhiana Lawrence as a fifth-grade literacy teacher.
A recent SUNY Cortland graduate who has substituted in the district, Rhiana is excited to begin her teaching career at S-VE. She looks forward to building relationships with students and instilling a love of literacy and learning.
Rhiana also plans to get involved in coaching and give back to the community that helped shape her, while providing students with the same support and encouragement she experienced growing up here.

Dates: July 6-Aug. 20
Location: Spencer Middle School, Center Street, Spencer
Pick-Up Time: 10-11 a.m.
Each meal package includes both breakfast and lunch, and meals are available to all children up to age 18, regardless of school enrollment.
Please note that an adult must sign in when picking up meals.
We encourage families to take advantage of this opportunity to help ensure children have access to nutritious meals throughout the summer months.

During S-VE’s cherished Tassel Dash tradition, our seniors put on their caps and gowns, carried the S-VE banner, and walked through the middle school and elementary school hallways one final time before graduation. It’s a powerful reminder of just how far they’ve come — from the children who first walked through these doors to the young adults now preparing to take their next steps into the world. Performances will take place in the Clyde Spear Auditorium on the following dates:

Saturday, March 28 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Tickets go on sale March 9.

Matches begin at 4:30 p.m., with the final match scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m.
Teams from Owego, Watkins Glen, Bath, Campbell-Savona and Spencer-Van Etten will compete as they prepare for the District II Championships.
